Mixtape mode should be selectable.

Question

Right now the mixtape mode is a system where each mode rotates all the time, but this is so ridiculous.
I really don't understand why they don't allow people to choose the mode they want to play whenever they want.

It's really stupid and * that you have to wait up to 30 minutes if you want to play one particular mode.

Besides, if you wait 30 minutes, you can only play that particular mode for 1~2 matches at most.
I have to say that it's really stupid to make you rotate through each mode without being able to select it.

There are many things that need to be improved as listed in this topic before reworking lifelines and greatly enhancing support classes, but devs neglect them and give top priority to trivial things that should not be done now by any stretch of the imagination, such as reworking lifelines and greatly enhancing support classes. I seriously don't understand why.

@Midnight9746Some like you like Gun Run, some like TDM, some like Control.That's why the current mixtape where you have to wait until you get to that mode to play your favorite mode is so ridiculous and should allow players to choose the mode they want to play when they want to.

@Fake_MRVNs Gun Run all day? Yes please.Most of the time when I go to play Mixtape, its on Control. I'm not a fan of Control and TDM is okay. I'm just a fan of getting a new weapon after each kill.

I get the problem but I look at it this way.

Apex by complete default is a Battle Royal, any other mode is to keep you on the game (you're supposed to love playing) without forcing you to play BR if you're feeling burnt out.

The modes switch frequently so people who really don't like a mode don't feel like they're there for too long and only have to play 1 match before you get to try another or there is something "different" happening over and over.

I think the biggest issue is we have come so used to the modes that are there now we have observer bias.

I always find it's gun run and I like the game play itself, I just really really want to do my challeneges and the best way is the modes with selectable guns (any weapon challenge Max 4 Games).

Selectable modes wouldn't be a terrible idea but the Apex community just hates Que times wayyyyyyyyyy too much that I don't think it's worth the headache.
