I absolutely agree. I'm playing on PS4 and feel pretty dizzy really fast from playing Apex. Never had any issues with Titanfall 2, though. Neither with default FOV nor with the value upped to 100 (both on PS4 & Xbox One). Love that game so much!
Thus I think the (new) crosshair sway is the main problem for me. With The Division I also get motion sick due to the bobbing HUD next to the player character. Nevertheless I would prefer for head bob to be completely optional. I think it's unrealistic, annoying and makes games unnecessarily more difficult to play as it is harder to focus on what's happening. The unstable framerate also doesn't help (on base PS4).
Other FPS games I can think of right now that I don't have any problems with are Doom 2016 (PS4 and PC max. settings) with FOV set to 100 and the first Dishonored (PC, max settings, 60 fps, FOV 100 and head bob turned off).
Other games that cause motion sickness for me are Far Cry 5 on PS4 (most likely due to the ridiculously low FOV at 30 fps), Skyrim on PS4 and PC (low FOV and head bob galore) and RAGE on PC (low FOV and head bob). Increasing FOV and removing head bob (on Rage via ini-file edit and via mod on Skyrim) made the games perfectly playable without any issues. Without head bob I can play Skyrim all day without any issues. Far Cry 5 with increased FOV (100) and stable 60 fps also is very playable for me.
Oh, can't forget God of War 2018 with its horrible shaky cam! Even when disabled for gameplay the constant shaking during cutscenes makes me feel nauseous in a heartbeat.
- 7 years agoUpdate: Still dislike the head bob a lot BUT I changed the FOV to 80 before I started playing today and now have been playing for 3 hours with a lot less issues. Previously I've been playing with FOV set to 100, then 90. Still think the game would benefit from making head bob optional or deactivating it altogether, though.

@Rucola-Joe Thanks for posting that, hopefully doing so alleviates this issue for others in your situation.

@EA_David You're welcome! Can confirm that it hasn't been a one-shot yesterday. Have been playing for another 3 hours today and the effects of motion sickness still are minimal at worst (if there are any at all) with FOV set to 80. I mostly play as Pathfinder, sometimes as Bloodhound, if that's of interest. I'm happy I can now enjoy this awesome game without feeling dizzy!
