Mouse Polling rate

So I bought a nice gaming mouse ( corsair m65 Elite) and I was extremely frustrated when i found that the game lags when turning the camera. i found that it was due to the polling rate, but thats part of the reason i bought the damn mouse. even running the game on low graphics, the lag persists. this isnt the only game that it happens in, and i feel like its a huge oversight for a game so dependent on reflexes to seemingly punish people for buying a high end mouse. not all games respond this way to a high poll rate, so it makes me wonder what could be done to make this issue disappear. 

Some games only react this way when plugged into any port under usb 3.0, but apex legends doesnt seem to care about that. I know its not a big deal when my poll rate goes from 1000hz to 500hz (1ms to 2ms), but it is essentially doubling my hand to game response. its especially weird when i can play competitive shooters like overwatch and CSGO without having to alter my poll rates. even Paladins doesnt lag at max polls, and that game lags over the weirdest things.
