My Feedback About Preseason Invitational

Presentations of the Games and Interfaces of the tournament was so poor. I will have some advices here for you to improve them.

Interface improvement -
- Team Names was positioned on the weapon infograms. That was so bad its actually made me bother to watch the game. My eyes was spliting right and left over and over to see whats going on and whos that guy and which team hes in.
Solution : You should put Team Names to the left side. Just put it on the team players infograms. And actually dont write the observing guy name on that interface info. Bright the guy's(whos being observed) nameplate by some shiny thing.

Presentation Advices -
Allright at this point i will give some serious advices and if you read it seriously you will find out that its actually better way for presentation. This game is a BR game. Its not LOL or CSGO or anything that played between 2 teams. Its played between 20 teams. Its a crowd fighting game. So heres my advices.
1) From time to time we need to see the map and all the players on the map as dots and their team NAMES on that map. So we can understand the positions better in that way. Also in that map interface if you make it, We should be joining the game and player's observing screen by some zooming animation. That would be great.

2) Create different types of that map style like: What team controls what areas on the map or fighting zones and dead players and where they dead and which team killed and kinda infos.(use these kinda variety of infos while presenting the game)


3) I advice you to create a real minimal interface in the bottom of observing screen. That minimal interface will work out for understanding which team is getting shots also which team lost a team players or actually in the fight. Its actually need a real easy design and very useful to follow game as whole. I can imagine the design in my mind. But you can maybe create yours its up to you. So basically i wanna see the informations of all the players that if dead, knocked, or getting damage. in a pretty easy interface. So its gonna be sticked at bottom of screen(shouldnt be too big)


4) Maybe instead of changing camera instant between players. You may consider about never split the short time memory of watchers. So maybe we can have a zoomout and zoomin animations but thats not necesessary actually but it would be very helpful. to understanding BR style tournament better for watchers. So you can use this technique from time to time while presenting the tournament. Just like as the 1st advice but its not coming from the map. It should change from player to player or team to team.

Conclusion : these tecniques and new interfaces will make watchers understand the game as a whole and be able to see the map way better understand everysingle team tactic way way way better. Just consider all these 4 advices in total and improve them.

  • @MeMkAll I know esports is a thing but I really had no desire to watch it. Had there been a competition in the game that every player could “tryout for” just by logging in, Then a few more tourneys like rank style the whole thing would be cooler and funner. I dont really care for these teams that most of us who play alot know nothing about. I’d be more interested watching the average joe from montana win the entire thing from his sofa chair
