Interresting! And your English is good man!
I am playing ranked on silver 2.
Lately I asked my teammates in normal mode which rank they have.
Most answeres were platinum to diamond. Little gold and predators...
Looking at damage and kills I feel absolutely in the right skill level in SBMM.
My conclusion was that ranked level itsself is not taken into account at SBMM.
Another thing that is more like a feeling is that the first matches of a day are easier.
I often get a #1 in my first 5 matches!
After that it seems to get tougher.
My conclusion was, that your skill level is reduced slightly after 24 hours / 12 hours you didn't play.
Then it is calculated rorrectly again and it's changed pretty flexible, using the last 10 matches maybe...
I've got 625 matches in Season 3 with WR of 6,72% and K/D of 0,74.
Got 39% top5 placement and 332 damage per match.
Thank to SBMM I do enjoy this game now!
@Flashshark1980 Thank you! In my experience, after 11 months and the data i have about my account i dont think SBMM is doing any good for you. My Season 1 data which is not shown (or i couldnt see it) is %10 Winrate 0,5 K/d (Max). There was no SBMM back in the days and i was bumping into walls when i was trying to turn a corner lol. So you got lower Wr and higher K/d then i had with SBMM which is very unusual to say it is an improvement. The only thing that can cause this is there were more noobs and new players in the game but i had 0 exp with FPS games(on console as well).
Also in Season 2 i have exactly the same data that you have! So when i think about this; i think they were tinkering with this SBMM waaaay before it was discovered publicly but they added some very wrong data for it and it completely destroyed the game for some people.
Otherwise how can i have the same data as you have without SBMM and with a lot more TTV boiz were playing this game back then? (+ i was playing with a stupid laptop with 30-45fps, a stupid 5$ mouse with terrible display. Now i have decent rig.)
I feel like my first games are a lot easier as well but only on my smurf. With my main, whatever i do, how many times i loose the game or die in 30 sec doesnt effect what lobby i am in. I always get extra cautios , coordinated and skilled players with it. I still can play it if i have a constant team and try hardcore but why should i? I want to solo que, have good funny stream, play with my handful of viewers :D
Okay let me explain the fail this way. Imagine this; 1 person is playing this game for a year at some point he starts switching accounts. The same person, the same computer, the same connection, the same conditions and 1 account is fed to ultra coordinated crazy lobbies, the other account he is matched perfectly. The only difference is 1 account has more played time and more lifetime kills. The funny part is the new account has better K/d and Winrate. This new account has 112 hours played, so it should have sent both accounts to the same lobbies right?
So after seeing this i feel like i spent 600euro for nothing in my main account and i feel like an idiot for doing so ( btw this is the first time i spent any money for in game purchases, imagine how much i loved the game when i was the noobest player you can find in this game. ). Now i cant play with my main because of matchmaking and my smurf account works perfectly but now i cant use my skins and i am not gonna pay another 600 euro on it.

The thing is MM got much much better for me with SBMM.
Before I had 3 wins per week, now I can get 2 per day and for sure my play / aiming / accuracy hasnt improved...
I feel well placed in SBMM, but they really should tell us how they calculate and how flexible the level can change.
Other threads say a smurf account is on the right level in 12 matches...
But why can't an old account go down in skill to the right level?
Is there no leveling down?
Leveling down is one of the most important things in a flexible MM!
If I am tired after a long work day I play worse than on sunday morning!
I want to be calculated to the right level in maximum 5-10 matches...
Flexibility should be the most important difference to ranked MM.
There you can't level down and you get trapped at your maximum level.
Actually this automatically makes playing ranked obsolete after some time!
But thats the goal of ranked... so SBMM should be ifferent to this!
- 6 years ago@Flashshark1980 Okay, now i have 570 games with my smurf;
2,16 K/D, 1019 kills, Avg dmg:584. I am now constantly getting matched with diamond/preds in public lobbies. Everygame champion is some crazy pred. It was working fine for 500games and even though my K/d and the rest of the stats were going down slowly... suddenly Respawn started to see me as crazy predator lobby guy. I am %90 sure sbmm is taking matches played as a big referance or lifetime kills because other then that everything is worse then last week but still...- 6 years ago
So in your first post you said your smurf had 1k kills and 2,3 K/D.
With a winrate of 10% and 40 wins, this are about 400 matches.
So 1k kills with 2,3 K/D pretty much matches this (calculated 920 kills in 400 matches).
2 weeks ago you said, you have 1016 kills, 2,16 K/D.
With about 570 games, your kills per match have dropped to 1,8.
But your K/D still is pretty stable, so you dont die much more.
It's seems you just do less damage or the enemy has better evasion (didnt the armor values change?)
So my stats have changed to
625 matches -> 880
WR of 6,72% -> 6,0%
K/D of 0,74 -> 0,76
Got 39% top5 placement -> 37%
332 damage per match -> 327
My damage is pretty much the same, my K/D has a tiny improvement, but I am loosing more matches.
So I am the same as before, but maybe something arround me has changed...
My feeling is that I was paired with worse players in my team.But thats hard to proof...
