"I download the game and it has me log into my origin account and thats when the ban hammer pops up." Maybe your cousin is using your account?
However, Do the following:
- Check if you have a recurring subscription, if you do then it auto renewed for months without you knowing.
- Check if your account has been compromised by:
Going to your EA Account and Billing tab and then Security. Scroll down and you will see the list of Trusted Devices.
If any login there makes you suspicious, untrust it and then update your account details following instructions from this.
- Run your Windows defender/antivirus for viruses
- Download the free trial of malwarebytes and scan for any type of other malicious software (remove them)
- Change your origin password
If you still have found nothing then contact account support here and follow the relevant instructions and explain your issue and somebody will take a look at your case and get back to you on what they can do via email

I already had the card thing taken care of I'm just worried about my account at the moment
- 6 years ago@DwindlingSoul You messed up a big story. First, someone stole your account, changed the language to Russian, and paid for an Origin subscription. And now your account is banned.
Once you have a card in the system, then all you need to get a subscription (basic or premier) is the CVV.
CVV is not shown at your card details in EA. Тhere's no way someone hacked you. So either you're lying to us and you used a hack and now you're blocked and created this whole story or your cousin knows yours CVV and he did all the mess. 🙂- 6 years ago
@TBTFWOnce you type the cvv in once... it never asks for it again, anyone can just get on your account and use your card atleast ive never had to type in my cvv whenever I have made purchases on both origin and epic games you just hit purchase and it automatically forwards the currency/items to your account unless you have a different billing option i I havnt really looked into any of that
I never really believed any of these posts about accounts being stolen but about a month and a half ago my epic games account had the password changed when somebody hacked my old email address i had linked to it, i noticed 2 hours after they changed the password whenever I went to log on fortnite so no damage was done and according to google they blocked access to the email from somebody in hong kong, not sure exactly how he changed the password if google blocked access to my email though... i have added 2FA onto both epic and origin since that happened, i feel like the hong kong guy would of used hacks on my account and i would of been banned if i didnt catch it :/ so some of these posts may actually be legit but I understand that alot of them are lies
