NEW GAME MODE SUGGESTION FOR APEX LEGEND

Hi, to anyone reading this topic.

I am kind of new to apex legends. i.e. (I have been playing this game only since SEASON 9). But this game, the movement, the gunplay, the excellent sound design, the diverse and alive Legends, it is so satisfying. I'm so hooked on this game unlike anything. The reason I started playing APEX LEGENDS was because of the ARENA mode (now I play both Arena and Battle Royale).I have a small suggestion for the upcoming seasons.

I would really love to see a 3v3 arena style CAPTURE THE FLAG Game mode for APEX LEGENDS.

I thought about the concept and personally, I think the Legend abilities along with the fast intense gameplay would go great in a Capture The Flag Game mode.

It would be quite refreshing to play this game mode which I always had fond memories of and also miss very much. I really hope the dev team would make this dream of mine a reality. I am really happy with the game and grateful  for the people who worked on it. THANK YOU.

    @Jaxonffargo They tested the bomb mode and said no because certain legends abilities were useless but thats the whole point... I do understand how Gibralter would be too strong though to gibby dome and just set or disarm the bomb though

    I agree with this idea. I also think it would be fun to have multiple modes like CTF, protect the cargo and maybe seeing some 5v5s in the future. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks for replying.

    I agree, Bomb defuse mode is a bit more tactical and usually slower paced. I was thinking Capture The Flag more like a fun edition to the game (not sure about competitive viability).

    Here are some ideas to be implemented to make CTF possible.

    - The ring has to go. 

    - I really liked the buying and round system of Arena mode. (where you have to spend to get abilities.)

    - Maybe best of three in each round. Team that captures enemy flag twice wins the round. 

    - The final champion will be the one who wins at least three rounds and be ahead of the enemy team by two points. (Match time would be longer than arenas but, I don't whether that is a problem.

    - Arena sized maps are fine IMO.

    Problems I encountered.

    - Wattson and Caustic traps.

    - Wraith Ultimate can be game breaking.

    - Valkyrie can be a nuisance.

    More thought is required for problem solving but I'm optimistic. We can continue this conversation if you like.

    Open up a new gamemode different from arenas , "Triple Triple" which means anybody could choose an apex champion that might already be chosen by a teammate, so it would be possible to have 3 Mirage or 3 caustic or 3 lifeline ... On the same team , yes it would impact the strategy of game but won't just assume that everyteam would automatically do the same triplets. Equal opportunity to do whatever you do best
