Good point.
Yes I can say that. However they (EA) need to really get to work on cleaning house, taking care of business and stop making mistakes, not only on this product but many other titles as well.
EA does care about the players. However EA is also a business and they also care about the money.
Keeping players playing is in their interest.
Things EA has the driving control over that they can do better:
Should they be better at communicating with the communities, YES they should.
Should the MM be better balanced, yes as well.
EA help/support, advisors live chat, reporting players etc. This is messed up and should be streamlined for simplicity and a speedier process. Currently the system sucks, it is cumbersome and very frustrating to use. DO better here EA.
The list goes on.
Things EA cannot fully control:
Cheaters my god is it bad and it is a constant back and forth fight, that is never ever going to be won. Should EA do better yes. So should other publishers.
Maybe just maybe the Whole Gaming industry needs to actively and collectively legally go after the companies that make and sell/distribute cheating software and hardware.
Smurfs I see as a separate matter:
Is it a new alt account?
Is it Timmys or any other Pro/Streamers 500th rookie to Pred grind and this time just Akimbo weapons?
Is it some really good persons new gaming account because their original account got hacked and sold?
Is it just some cracked good new kid?
Is it I got banned for whatever reason but was good and had to make a new account?
This list can go on and on. Which of them are actual Smurfs (not our definition but EA's) and which of them are "real accounts" so hard to detect and determine.
Timmy and CO is by the rules just fine and not considered Smurfing by EA but is not fun to end up playing against as they wreck lobby after lobby. If EA starts stopping this stuff along with the broadcasting of it then their would be so many less copycats.
Again EA cares but there are a lot of things that are not fully in their control.
Should they do better and try harder, I think so, it would go a long way in customer relations/happiness and a happy customer is a returning customer.

I appreciate your reply and post, well written. Thank you. Sincerely.
As you hopefully can tell, my frustration comes from a true love for the game that against my wishes is dying.

Thank you as well for your post.
I am in the same boat as you.
I love this game as well.
This season is very trying specifically because of the 3 main things in the title of the post: terrible balance / more cheaters / more smurfs.
I feel like a noob playing this game do to that, I cant seem to put up any type of damage numbers barley get knocks nary a kill and seem to be completely run over by all others. My K/D has been slashed by over 80% as compared to last season.
Played a few hours last night and it was not really any fun.

The only legitimate reason for a secondary that I can see on that list is, hacked, sold, starts new account. The rest of them are somewhere on the scumbag scale, and most are closer to the bottom than the top. I sympathize to some degree with an average player who has just grown tired of lop-sided matchmaking and is trying to do something about it, but the rest are a genuine pox. Streamers doing their 100th rookie to pred are the mainspring behind the cheating in this game. The kids see it on YouTube and twitch but when they try it themselves it's like running face first into a brick wall. So they look for ways to "fix" the wall so it isn't as hard or maybe not even there at all. I'm not trying to excuse the cheating, but the two are connected. If you advertise alcohol in prime time then the rate of teenage DWIs goes up. It's that simple. - AreYouShivering12 months agoNew Ace
I expected the number will be bad, but this is really bad. 100k banned monthly, with like... 200k players monthly on average just on Steam Charts? Wow And I was saying cheaters are 30% of player base. I was so naive :D
- MindTrick8510 months agoRising Hotshot@reconzero in a game where u able to go pred rank before even gettin banned by cheating the smurf issue is similar to cheater issue. how many have lost their account due its been hacked 0.0000001% how many have been banned cuz of inappropriate behaviour a lot but how many hitting 90-100% headshots every single game well a cheater. It's not a rocketscience it's a fact this game is infected by cheaters I wonder how boring their life must be.
