actually TTK is probably higher then it was when apex got released if you just knew what this game used to be like. many guns experienced nerfs over the seasons and max shield limit is the same it was before evo was released... you are just too used into being bad player and not getting punished for your own mistakes when red evo allowed you to tank 5 mags and still run away from a situation where you deserved to die.
Most common call in professional games used to be "hes 10hp hes 10hp hes 10hp" is that enjoyable to watch them all get away when you reload especially with buffed resurrection on lifeline.
What comes to this game becoming more and more boring is direct result of wraith and pathfinder nerfs. they tried to prevent this agressive and strong playstyle of solos by nerfing them, instead of enforcing the most fun thing in this game by releasing more characters with similar cababilities.
they design bad and boring camp characters, when literally every game peoples love to play only hard carries.
Instead of helping solos by removing three stacks from same queue in ranked, they made it even worse for solos by nerfing these only fairly strong agressive characters. ttk helped this a bit but it wont change the fact that peoples get tired and bored of this game if they cannot play these pathfinders and wraiths whos abilities were some of the most enjoyable content this game ever offered, now gone.
Is it really game designers job only to determine that something is very strong and take it away from peoples who love it resulting in playerbase drops, instead of making goal to make everything else also fun when realising their games selling point. apex digs their own grave by removing their strong points that kept peoples still playing
@tziiware Im no pro but i wouldn't say im a casual either i never used evo until now always ran gold.. To say the game takes more skill now and in a better place then it did before the update tho its laughable why cant anyone see there catering to other companies communitys if they want to copy those games so much and the ttk is basically the same.. I may aswell play those as the devs actually listen and the games find and run smoother.. The legends and movement was what seperated it from other BRs now there is less if no movement path tac useless octane jumpad useless etc etc
Indeed. Apex legends is currently what AMD was like before lisa stepped into the presidents chair.
Leadership keeps doing bad decisions resulting in unnecessary loss for everybody especially customers. i honestly think this game will never see it's potential until these guys get a new job and somebody else steps into their chairs. and there is nothing we can do about it exept try to influence by yelling into a empty forum
