Try increasing your FPS by lowering the settings, by turning off certain things, and lowering some other quality’s, I know when I first started playing it put all of my settings on max, and I had to readjust them before I started getting good quality of gameplay. And not every game is going to be optimizable for certain Pc’s, fortnite is a game almost all PCs that I know of can run. But I’m sure with time, they’ll make their servers more optimizable and have them running better, the game just did come out.
This game actually runs pretty well on my 8 year old pc (8700 i7) with a 750TI OC. I turned up anti-aliasing to 4x and this improved things. I made the resolution ratio 16:10 instead of default 16:9 and that helped. You need to tweak up. But I don't have high shadows, etc.
Hi guys, try the suggestion here.
I'll try it once I am able to back at home. I believe this should fix it. Since Apex legends is reading the intel hd gpu rather than the nvidia one for my lenovo y50-70https://www.reddit.com/r/Lenovo/comments/aocbqm/anyone_else_try_apex_legends_with_the_y5070/
- There are not enough options to lower video settings.
Please add the option
a)to turn off shadows
b)to decrease the resolution further than 1280x720 (maybe like in fortnite down to 640x360?) - VindictiV_V7 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Why would you want to have a resolution of 640x360!? This isn't 1999-2000 anymore. Even if you had access to such a ridiculously low resolution, you woudn't be able to see anything as everything would be pixelated as F. You guys playing on potatoes?
I think it's safe to say that when your computer is less powerful than an old cellphone, it's time to upgrade or get a console instead.
