Octane rework idea:
Octane rework idea - keeps octanes personality and character identity
Passive - 3 of them cause he deserves to be cool
Explosive mend - regenerates health and is the swift mend same as his previous swift mend passive but he also now takes 8% less damage from all ordnances
Navi’s Legacy - Octane can throw out a launch pad just like his previous ult did but it’s 10% smaller, has 50 less hp, and has a 95 second cooldown (which octane can keep track of in a special stim-themed green bar in a corner of ur screen)
^Octane can hold two of these charges at a time and the Airborne Agility perk is built into this too
Metallic Magic - (has a 9.75 second cooldown between when this applies) every time he slides 3 meters it reduces the cooldown of his Navi’s Legacy passive by 1 second (can stack but does not shorten its actual base cooldown - like the cooldown of Navi’s Legacy will always be 95 seconds by default but this passive will help shorten the cooldown of that specific charge for Navi’s Legacy)
Tac - Stim
Octane inflicts 6 damage on himself and has all the same speed effects as before and has decently increased weapon reload speed while stim is active. Stim lasts 0.3 seconds longer than previously and he has 5% extra movement speed for the first second of stims duration but stim now has a 2.5 second cooldown
Decreased the animation time of applying stim and the animation when stim ends
Slightly decreased the sound of stim that Octane himself hears while it’s active (sound is still the same for enemies)
New Ultimate - Silva Superiority
Octane gains 5 percent movement speed during the ultimate duration. Octane gains 30 shields or health per knock (10 shields/health per second over 3 seconds and regen stops if he is damaged by enemies during that cycle)
Octane gains Adrenaline Insight during ult - Enemies within 12 meters of octane are outlined in green or red or something even through walls every 1.65 seconds (in a pulse type of way) and the scan lasts 1.5 seconds and it keeps pulsing like that for the Ultimate ability’s duration or until Octane is knocked
During his ult, his bullets gain an additional 2% slow effect on enemies he hits even if they are fortified legends
(Ultimate benefits only apply to octane)
Ultimate lasts 30 seconds and has a 150 second cooldown (his stim has a 1 second shorter cooldown during his ultimate)
New Level 2 Perks
Chaos Connoisseur - Octane’s passive swift mend can now overflow and repair his shields but at 1/5 the regen rate and he can now scan survey beacons
Slipstream+ - Octane can now climb walls faster and instantly applies a damage penalty free stim to himself when he reaches 50% health and can now scan ring consoles
New Level 3 Perks
Relentless Racer - Octane gains all assault class perks - speed boost on shield crack, access to assault bins, etc…
Oléeee - Octane gains Horizon’s Passive and slightly reduces how obnoxiously loud his metal legs are (has the slightest amount less of airborne maneuverability though compared to Horizon’s passive) but instead of a blue effect when you land with the soft landing thing, it’s green
