At this point if people play FPS games on OLED screens its natural seection dude
This is why you do your research first when buying monitors/TVs. OLED screens are terrible for gaming due to constant image patterns that can burn the screen.
LED screens are way better because of this.

OR alternatively, EA could acknowledge that their customers will buy all different types of TV and could then offer features like HUD transparency to cater for them. It's not like it's a new thing, tvs have been getting burn in for decades.
Your reply: "HAHA buy an LED" isn't much help.

@WahwahUKJust reading through the thread and I never knew this about OLED TVs.
I thought one of the reasons Plasma TVs were faded out was because of this problem and energy efficiency. I cant believe this is a thing with technology in this day and age after all the research etc.
On a side note Some makes of plasmas where worse than others for retention so I'm not sure if this is the same for OLED ?
I have a Panasonic Plasma in our bedroom that is still going strong, it was the last model they released and it has been hammered with gaming and has not had any retention or burn issues and imo still has a better picture than our LED Samsung.- 6 years ago
Yeah, I had a Panasonic plasma before this Oled, I didn't believe it would look so much better, but it does. Not to knock the plasma, I had it 7/8 years and it still looks good. Also the oled was twice the price of the plasma! I guess it depends how much apex you play, I was playing it every day for a while and had to stop as it was getting burnt into my plasma screen. I stopped and it went away, fortunately.
I'd love to get back into playing apex but having just spent so much on my new tv, I don't want to risk it.
I don't know why they won't allow transparency, it must be such a minor thing for them to add.
