I have the same issue. It is very very disturbing when you land in a hot area. Get a weapon start to shoot the enemy face to face and while jumping around you switch in close combat to a newly picked up sniper. First you loose a big amount of time , while you can not shoot. If you survive that time then you have sniper to fight with .....

Very annoying.
