Option to disable weapon auto swap

There were a handful of separate posts on this request so I merged them all together under one. Can't sit here and say it hasn't affected me negatively as well, out of habit I always press a button to swap to the other weapon when I'm low or out of ammo. In this case, I end up swapping back to the weapon with zero ammo! ☹️
The team is always open to quality of life improvements, so we'll make sure feedback like this is heard.
auto refill ammo isnt good. ppl need to learn to count their bullets, and not just "pray and spray" waiting for that reload to safe them "again"... Is this Apex or not? skilled players stand out, if you remove "auto reload etc"
try this in ur autoexec.cfg
cl_autowepswitch 0
im not at home to try it so try it and tell me if its works we use this command in cs go so maybe its works in apex legends since they have same engine

btw other find i hate is why when i change weapon positions (for example move peacekeeper from slot 1 to slot 2) and do charging animation.
why? i just change weapon to other slot why need to do charging animation? the same thing when you use jump tower and land.
