@WickXIPathfinder cant bhop heal and bhop healing isnt anything to do with general mobility. Thats a bit if a red herring :S Octane is still very mobile. I allowed for adding to team mobility in what I was saying, which is why I included wraith. Her ultimate is fast charging like pathfinders and gives good personal mobility as well.
Youre right about octane and wraith being different to pathfinder, but then pathfinder doesnt heal by himself or have an invulnerability button and early warning system when someone looks at him. Octane is a weird counterweight to use in this discussion because you literally CAN spam his tactical.
Most of the places pathfinder can get to - anyone can : just not as quickly provided you dont screw up the grapple. If you do screw up your grapple unless the team are at the other end of cascades sniping from a mountain or something - youre caught. In order for this to not be the case for the cascades example it would need a 25-30 second cooldown thus rendering him useless.
None of his abilities or passive provide any kind of combat edge directly other than as an escape/initiate. Mobility is his 1 trick. While someone is grappling they are 100% vulnerable. It isnt like wraiths phase or octanes stim.
Bangalore is more mobile in fights because of her passive.
Im trying to think of specific examples where it is OP where a longer CD would fix anything.
Situations like running away/chasing ad escaping up onto things is where I think youre talking about. Keep in mind though, by doing any of this you either make it 1v3 when you catch a team, or leave it to be 3v2 if you abandon your team.
A fastheal backpack changes this but it does for everyone else.
I cant travel 200m with one button and people do escape me/catch me. I cant outrun bullets.
TL DR - yeah I think its fair 😛 But if a compelling argument is made againdt it Id change my mind.
