Permanently banned after using racial slur jokingly

I was permanently banned after spending ~$500 on apex coins and ~1400 hours in this game for using a racial slur - the N word. I understand what I did was inappropriate and I had 2 previous suspensions on the account after some toxic player provoked me but blocking your entire EA account so you can't play any other EA games on it is just too harsh. I can create a new EA account and play on a new account but my skins and everything I've gained is lost. Is it really fair in your opinion? Meanwhile cheaters are rage hacking and reaching top 100 in ranked and nobody is doing anything that quickly with it.

I'm very disappointed about how I was treated by EA ToS team. It's so easy to ban but nobody will give me my earned money and time back.

Please beware and don't give them your money. They can ban your account and they don't care if you spent $500 or $5000 or $50000. You just lose it all. Don't use text chat at all. I don't know if they record voice chat as well but to be safe use discord instead....

This is just so unfair and feels like scam

I'm moving on with my life and don't think I'm ever going to spend money on any EA product again

EA support is not here to help you they will just say that they were right about their ban and close your case.

  • Hey all, you will need to speak to our Terms of Service team in relation to any ban.

The process to contact our ToS team can be found here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/

    1. Click Contact us at the top of any page on EA Help.
    2. Select the game that your account was banned or suspended from. If it’s on your whole EA Account, choose Origin.
    3. Choose your platform.
    4. Select Manage my account, then Banned or suspended account.
    5. Fill out any other details below.
      • For example, if you picked Origin, it might ask you if you are accessing the game through an Origin Access membership.
    6. Click Select contact option.
    7. Sign in to your account that has the ban or suspension, if you aren’t already.

  • @TBTFWYeah that's how I got my previous suspensions. I replied to a person insulting me in a voice chat. I don't think that person ever got banned. I'm pretty sure they only log chat messages and voice messages go unrecorded. In other games mute was a thing. You were either permanently muted or muted for X months or X years. I don't understand why it doesn't work like that here. It's just how EA treats their customers :/

  • @RenTheReaperr No matter how angry you are, don't use racist attacks. Mute his or tell him that he is a joke but never text N-word or something connected with skin colors. It's bad for your account but they are uncompromising when it comes to racist attacks. Funny fact btw - they can insult you in voice chat and they won't get banned but if you answer them in game chat - you will end up banned. I'm not sure if there is a special space in db about voice chat messages because some of them deserve prison time not ban.

@RenTheReaperrPersonally I think people should only be temporary banned for insults. Not permanently in any case - it is just stupid.

Also an interesting fact - where I live the "N" word is not an insult as it is not applied with racist context. Calling someone by color though - oh boy...that's really rude.
