Platinum 1 vs Diamond 4

I'm not sure if this is just an Australian server issue, but the stark difference between Platinum 1 games and Diamond 4 games is quite extreme. 

As soon as we de rank out out of Diamond 4 its super easy games and we rank back up almost instantly, then once one of us hits d4 we are condemned to fighting bulk pred/master teams and pushed back down into pergatory. 

It seems the de ranking has made diamond extremely hard to climb unless youre a top 1% gamer, obviously we need to improve to battle the elite, but my word is it frustrating.

Anyone else experience a simular thing? How did you overcome it?

    The issue is not exclusive to Plat or diamond. Its extremely noticeable right now in the gold 4 barrier as well because right now gold 4 is filled with previous plat and some diamond players. So when you climb your way out of the chaos lobby (rookie to silver 1) you end up getting hit in the face with tons of plat premades in gold 4. If you solo-que as well you get hit with the chaos-lobby part 2 of gold 4, where you never know if your teammate is hard carried, a hard carry making their bronze to pred video that will abandon the entire team in a heartbeat, or just an average player.
