I can't believe you are a real person.
The correct way is to be the last squad standing.
Dropping "hot" means that you are playing the game too much, to the extent of sucking the soul out of it for your own perverse personal pleasure.
The correct way is to be the last squad standing.
This is an undisputed fact. Dropping among 10 squads decreases your chances to win drastically.
Now imagine someone picking up Apex Legends and getting you and your friends onto their team. Horrible experience. For what? Just because you think you can redefine the rules of a game.
You cannot. No matter what angle you will try to justify yourself, you cannot. You've simply forgotten what this game was all about when you first started playing it. Now everyone wants action but is playing the wrong game. The rules for this one are simple:
The correct way is to be the last squad standing.
@sanneh_pwnererand @EREGDS Good points and I'm thinking the same thing. The game is just not played the way its supposed to be played.
But one may argue that the players define how a game should be played, but not if the devs disagree or don't want to ajust to how players play their game. Hot-dropping is fun for some and an adrenaline rush I can agree, maybe even more than the last circle.
The players chase the feeling, not the goal of the game.
The game is being abused as a means to an adrenaline rush. Its not about the game and teamplay anymore, its the emotions.
Thats also something for the devs to take note of, emotions rules how games are played even though its against the odds for winning.
As a comparison to set it into perspective:
Imagine if a soccer player was rushing solo with the ball because it gave them a adrenaline rush instead of playing with the team, passing the ball and actually be able to score a goal, but instead trip over lose the ball and then insta-quit, walk-off to the locker room leaving the team behind. "Wow, What a rush! All right guys, was fun, heading to the shower, have fun".
The Apex experience is fragile with how team play is executed because its so dominated by it, because of the short TTK, the roles of the legends and the low teamplayer count ( 3 ). This is a good thing though, because team-focused games add a human element to them that inject a feeling of reality into the game which enforce immersion with the experience.
There should be some sort of toggle in the lobby "Teamplayer with mic" or "Rusher without mic" "Not a teamplayer + insta-quitter".

@EA_David Still waiting on some feedback about your community reps breaking your own terms of service for these boards. You've been online and so have been made aware of the issue with your Hero who is not "displaying an attitude in line with Answer HQ’s values. "
Any regular user baiting or trolling would suffer repercussions as laid out in your own forum rules, and a "Hero" should be held to a higher standard....his last post is just baiting again. Can you please comment on this behaviour?

@Balladalidila Not sure what you mean by wow?
@EA_Mako EA_David is ignoring any call to actually explain why forum "Hero's" get to break the rules with impunity. (I'm reasoning this because on checking his last active status he's been online but not deigned to reply). Can you give any idea why one of the privileges of being an EA Ambassador is to break TOS?

Hey folks, there's been some good discussion in this thread, though it's also gotten pretty far off-track at this point.
Thanks to those that had kept this discussion civil and on topic, however it's now being locked as it's been pretty heavily derailed.
Feel free to report any posts you feel are breaking Forum Guidelines and a CM will take a look.
That's not something that would be handled publicly in a thread regardless of the individual status of the poster.
That report option should be at the bottom of the list when clicking the options on any post, thanks!
