Firstly, I agree, we need something to do once we hit level 100. There should be no cap, just a prestige where it resets and you can work towards earning apex packs again. That by itself would be more than enough imo for a free-to-play game.
I don't think rewarding an Apex Pack for winning is a good idea. However, rewarding something like 50 crafting metals and some legends tokens (after all, your legend just won the apex legends BR) is a great idea. This would allow you to slowly build up and purchase the cosmetics and new legends that you really want.
With those two aspects, it should be a slow stable income. After all, people have to grind out stuff, once you hit level 100, you feel like you're not earning anything. Earning EXP and gaining levels in itself feels rewarding as you progress when that stops a few players will burn out because they're playing the same game without the same rewards.
Edit:
I also agree with having individual legends levels, it would be cool to have some skins unlock or features at certain ranks and also being able to prestige the legends so that you can have infinite progression. Would be really nice to be able to show off, especially when you're the Champion or the Kill Leader.
I agree with OP, as I have written here
The individual level per Character idea is great!
Frankly, I wasted a bunch of Crafting mats on 2 trackers, because I figured the non-character-specific trackers were account wide... I was wrong ☹️
So now, with only 1 pack per two levels past 20 and none of them ever containing materials - I cannot actually save up and buy the skins I want.
I would even be fine with paying 5 bucks for a few skins, but I can't. This is my main concern. You can make it super grindy - thats all fine. Its a free to play game.
But if the only way to spend money is on packs... sorry I wont buy any. If I can buy skins directly with premium currency, that I might do. But none of that gambling *.

Yes im sure players who hit lvl 100 after like a week have a full time job, friends / family , sleep for about 8 hours a day and still have enough time for other hobbies.
Maybe their day just has like 40 hours , mine have 24 ☹️
But anyways, no offense. Just consider the devs cannot and will not put much effort into the 1% players who spent so much time during the frist weeks of the launch and give them some time to catch up , there are way more important things than rewards for the few players with much time like the sick amount of people with random crashes, not being able to install the game, fps drops and connection issues.- 7 years ago

There will always be hardcore grinders that streak ahead of everyone and while it impacts them now there will slowly be more and more left in the same boat. Additionally if those who haven't hit 100 yet are aware of the lack of rewards that lie ahead it would likely discourage many from wanting to continue the grind... This is why it's important to see this as constructive feedback and provide additional thoughts. Player engagement and retention are both highly important as is stability IMO. Yes, stability issues drive players crazy and may force some away, but that is something that most know will be addressed and many will endure the growing pains associated with them in a new game. However, a failing long term structure will erode a player base and leave you with a stagnant game where stability is of little concern when there's very few playing.

Each character has a 5/15/50/100/150 win badge.... i noticed that the other day....
I'm working on my "Get 10 wins on every character badge."
To me... i think if they just added more levels? or kept the badge that indicates your level evolving... that would be enough...
As i would like more skins or apex packs for leveling up ... i dont feel like they should be giving us anymore apex packs... its free to play and their buisness model works off the skins....
and having them make "Free" skins would only mean we're taking away time/work from other tasks they are doing....
I for one... WOULD RATHER HAVE NEW LEGENDS... 1-2 months new legend... consistently and i would drop 20 bux everytime a new legend came out....
I think the dev's time should go into that , and or new map... but stuff that effects game play
I would assume most agree with that >🙂>
<3
Btw, ive been level 100 for a minute... i bought both characters with ingame money and i have 63k in game points, which is the max... you dont get anymore after that xD
