It's too late now.
Most of the users left the game in disgust at EA/Respawn's inability to take any effective action or response to this problem, and the number of people watching the distribution of this ridiculous game dropped dramatically accordingly.
So, even if EA, which is outdated and only interested in short-term money, takes serious measures now, the number of "decent" players will not come back, but will only decrease.
EA knows this, so instead of dealing with the problem, they are trying to sell expensive skins and other products at a high frequency to get money right now.
Any sane businessman can easily see that this will cost them huge profits and customer trust in the future, but EA, especially these days, is not a very smart group of people who can't think about the future at all, but only about the immediate future.
The current decline is the result of their own stupidity, and yet they are still trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of the people who play this game without any remorse.
The only thing left for this game is to disappear along with this incompetent company, EA, which is now a cancer in the industry, outdated and only thinking about the immediate future.
This year, the equally or even more popular VALORANT will be released on PS5, Xbox, etc., and that will probably be the end of apex.
Well, I am not at all disappointed if apex will be completely finished this year, and I think it should be.
