Preferred legend order for select screen

What if this creates a behavior within the community where all players at the selection screen will start to go AFK leading into the drop. Currently, if the last person to select their Legend (jumpmaster) does not manually choose the Legend the system will identify them as AFK and will promote the 2nd person to be jumpmaster. 

One challenge if this was implemented is that the system won't know who is AFK since there won't be manual selections taking place.

Right now, I'm already afk on the selection screen, and I wont lie, sometimes I do am afk when landing or is my  turn to jump. Yet MUCH more common than that is when I'm back from alt tab, and another random hero was chosen because someone picked the hero I wanted. 

To me this feature is top1 thing missing in the game, and something that really makes my experience playing worse (other than Loba's tatical bugs =p, just remembered) . 

About the system knowing who is afk, first I think this isn't as important as ranking/ordering your heroes, but the system can check if any of the players choose his/her hero and use it as parameter. If none choose, then let the third one as jumper, as it would be.

ps: This text was written while I was playing/waiting, and someone picked my hero, but I there when the jump occurred, illustrating my point.
