If, out of consideration for duos, the right for duos to participate in ranked matches is to be retained as before, duos should be required to bear some form of cost.
For example, give solo players the deciding power on whether to join a duo.
Alternatively, when a duo fills with a solo player, the duo could bear half of the participation cost, effectively paying the solo player for their contribution.

"Proposal: Prohibiting Duos in Ranked Matches"
No way. This would not be good for the game, the community and the company.
As the solo player if you get matched with a premade duo it is on you to play to their style or at least attempt to.
It is a team game and the duo has at least 2/3 of a full premade team, why should they have to bare an extra cost to play? Why should a solo player get a bonus for being solo?
I have to totally disagree with your proposal.

・My Thoughts
I understand you want to oppose my proposal. However, your counter-arguments feel abstract and, frankly, like you're ignoring my points.
・Why I Feel This Way
I presented clear reasons for my proposal and its expected benefits, yet you didn't address any of them. You simply expressed your disagreement. Isn't that hardly conducive to a constructive discussion?
・Your Misunderstanding
You claim that solo players choose their situation, but that's incorrect.
Solo players absolutely do not want to be forced into teams with duos, nor do they wish to be complicit in duo boosting or smurfing.
Speaking for myself, playing in a full party involves significant fatigue from scheduling and intense communication, which is why I also play ranked solo. But I'm forced to play with Duos when I play Solo runked. It's a terrible situation when I'm trying to play solo for some casual enjoyment.
・Conclusion
I've outlined the concrete benefits if my proposal were implemented. If you believe there's an error in my reasoning, please point it out specifically. I'd particularly appreciate it if you could explain why my proposal would be bad for the game, the community, and the company.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Been busy.
Like I said before this would not be a good idea.
Not allowing premade duos to play together in ranked and or pubs would not be good.
In affect when one of my friends could not make it to play we the other two would not be able to play together. This would impact me in a very negative way. I am sure there are a lot of other players would fall in the same boat.
If EA would do this they would lose a lot of players, which in turn would = less income which would mean less $ spent to improve the game. This would also mean less ranked players which would increase MM time and or MM quality as the skill gap of the players available would be greater because speed of MM takes priority over closeness of skill values. When you look at it this way it would be a loss for the players, community and the company.
Playing in a full team may or may not involves significant fatigue from scheduling and intense communication, That is dependent on the group of players themselves.
The presence of duos significantly encourages boosting behavior, thereby severely undermining fairness and competitiveness. The presence of duos does not encourage boosting nor impact the fairness or competitiveness of ranked play. As far as boosting goes report it if you see it. What would stop a one player in a premade squad of three boosting the other two? Solo's Duo's or premade 3 stacks are not the problem, the problem are players that cheat or boost.
