Is there a patch note about the armor upgrade and weapons are removed when respawning? Be aware that there is a bug so you can sometimes respawn without weapon or armor.
They could just disable it when a player dies without any damage from enemy players in a certain time like 30 seconds etc. so people will not be able to do by jumping of the map, using nades or prowlers etc. Of course by teaming people still can do it but it is a different issue.

if you don't have any weapon when you respawn it's a bug.
unless red weapon ofc.Have you experienced this "bug" then? Because as I said my friends were left without their previous armour or weapons multiple times.
The pros don’t exploit the game. The contracts they sign prohibit them from exploiting the game. Post link and time stamp so we can see what you’re referring to.
