PS4 updates

Hi! Apex is awesome. I am sure a top complaint is that PS4 updates are the opposite of awesome.  I will search for latest announcements from EA but can you share the plan to make the updates automatic, less painful, and not require hours and hours of waiting ?  Thank you.
