Queue issue from North Africa

Evening Respawn Team;

I'm from North of Africa before everything, the internet here sucks, but still, i had this issue of not being able to queue in and get inside of a match, so the thing is the moment it finds a lobby, the screen turns black, and the Code leaf thing appears, i had this for ages and it happens all the time.

After the Last Update (Season 9 update) the game has become Cancerous, it keeps kicking me out everytime I try to queue and sends me straight to the login screen (a message that says Servers not found appears) and it keeps searching for servers and it occurs again and again approximately for 1 minute until it gets me back to the main lobby so i can be able to queue again. And so on i try to queue and it happens again repeatedly for up to 10 minutes (that's what happened now that's why i'm writing this cause i feel so frustrated).

As a first month player and which also never stopped playing this game ever since, i really would like you to consider my situation here and see what you can do about it.

Thanks for your time.

Yours Dx

  • Hello,
    a few months ago, I did a post asking why there is no servers in South-Africa, as we play with 200+ ping for most of us. I linked a screenshot with 400+ping, and I was happy that someone from EA responded me quickly !
    Unfortunately, they just told me that my internet was probably bad (which is true), completely avoiding the main topic which was "We don't have servers in South Africa and play high ping since more than two years". The thing is that we know EA can improve servers and get one for South-Africa. We know it because the game keeps growing since its release and obvioulsy its making good money for EA. I can hear that theres is not as much players in SA than in Europe or America. But there will be a lot more if EA actually put effort into servers. The South-African Apex community exists. I play from Reunion Island, I see posts on reddit, twitter, EA about South-African servers, nothing has been done for this particular community, and also to improve servers all around the world. People from South-Africa, Madagascar, Reunion Island, Mauritus and more aren't allowed to play at a decent ping, why is that ? Online games with South-African servers exist and they work very fine, despite the fact that there is not so much people playing them, not more than Apex. I just wish that EA will hear us, and maybe one day my ping will be less than 120 at best (happens 1 game out of 5)

    Have nice day everyone.

  • Simple. Imagine you're a game company (or any kind of company, actually). Would it generate money to install a server in a country where (according to what you said) internet connection is bad ? And also, in a country surrounded by other countries that are not very rich, and because of that peoples can't put too much money in a computer/console, nor just in an ridiculously expensive skin ?

    If a company doesn't do something, it's because it doesn't generate money. That's it.

    Well I didn't said that internet was bad here. I said MY internet was bad. The internet can be really good, we have servers at Johannesburg in South-Africa and Antananarivo in Madagascar. So the latency could be between 30/40 easily. And also, I don't know if you are aware of the countries that surround South-Africa, but first they are not necessarily countries (Reunion Island is a French territory for example), not necessarely poor or "not very rich" and then yes, people do have consoles and computers. For example, me and my bad internet can play R6 at 80ms on South-African servers. It's not a free game, you have to have a good pc/console to play and it works fine for everyone.

    So : Internet is good, community is here and just want to play and will play way more often with good servers. Again, what are they waiting for ?
