R3 button (melee) sensitivity is too high!
I frequently punch in the air by "pressing R3 accidentally"... I mean I don't press it. It doesn't happen in other games I play. Is the sensibility too high for this button in #ApexLegends? Could you confirm that? And if so, could you change that?
There is no sensitivity adjustment possible on L3 & R3. That is strictly controller dependent. You either click it or you don't.
It's gotta be our controller. I accidentally "press too hard" in Apex and it inexplicably DOES'T happen in other games...but those games are MUCH slower, moment to moment, so I figure I just hit the stick too hard when trying to flick-aim. That, combined with build quality. I don't have this problem with other, older controllers, just this fairly new one. It's got a GREAT R3 response and laughably bad L3 response at times. Must be our thumbs. And I am getting better at NOT punching the air in an intense gunfght but it still happens from time to time, even when I swear I am being careful/delicate. We're part Rockbiter with good, strong hands.

Sorry but no. I play other games were R3 is either melee or crouch and this only happens to me playing Apex, so it is an Apex specific issue. I even bought a new controller thinking i had a faulty one but no, it keeps happening. Other fps games i have no issue at all with the R3 button. Apex has a “customized” controller preset but it doesn’t let you disable a button, just swap buttons. We would like that option.
the melee needs to be used only when u holster your gun,not on tf R3 button
u can switch the melee with the thanks button like me but it could be worst for u bc if u pres the r3 will apear tf quick quips,but this is better for me,hope helps u too
