- @BigMacAttack8u Not really. She can just plant her walls and you literally will need all your ammo to break the wall. Meanwhile, her and her teammates are shooting you, even if its just her shooting you, you have limited heals and such, you can't take her wall out as easily in arenas like in BR. In BR, its not a problem.
@SolitaryMassacre I also don't like Rampart much in arenas but she's only viable on teams that work together so I'd rather not touch that.
#1. Her walls can be overwhelming but a thermite or two ruins her day. One thermite to push her off the wall then take position so she can't set up.
#2. Limited heals is nonsense. You can buy a single gun and the mozambique while still having enough for 2-3 batteries and a golden backpack if you want to. Everyone just wants to carry a second upgraded gun that they don't need.

1. Her walls can be positioned in a corner, they can be positioned in a triangle/box, making it nearly impossible to get near her. Yes, a grenade def helps, but hard to throw them when she's using her ult or simply shooting at you. She can block doors making it impossible to even get to her.
2. Regardless what you buy, you are limited to the number of heals in arenas. Period. There is no nonsense about limited heals in arenas. Its literally how it is designed. 😂
All she needs is a price increase on both tactical and ult. I literally emptied half the allotted ammo into JUST her walls cause she just kept putting them up.She had way too many to have both her ult and that many walls, plus a purp spitfire - BigMacAttack8u3 years agoSeasoned Ace
@SolitaryMassacreStop complaining about how many different shapes rampart can make, that’s just silly. The limited heal design serves a purpose, it’s not like they did it to make you specifically angry. Rampart is fine in arenas, in fact she’s pretty underwhelming, you just don’t know how to counter her. A simple underrated counter to really everything is the re-45 with hammer points.

I'm not complaining about the shapes she can make, I am specifying how easy it is for her to become impenetrable. She is not fine in arenas. She can buy way too many walls in addition to her ult. You are not countering that with an re-45 and hammerpoint. You can't even counter that with a devo or spitfire or rampage. When you destroy one wall, she simply puts down another while you reload.
Also, i'm not "angry" about the limited heal design. It was straight up said "#2. Limited heals is nonsense" and I simply explained how limited heals was not nonsense and its very important in arenas not to take too much damage. Which guess what, is impossible in a rampart ult situation.
All she needs is a price increase and she would be balanced. Let her have her walls or ult, not both and not both with maxed out walls. Or even limit the number of walls she can have. that way when I destroy them, I know its destroyed and there won't be a million more to come. Our team get decimated by her, she is not underwhelming when she has her ult behind her walls. She was also pined up in a corner, so there was no way to get around her. We threw our grenades and destroyed her walls only for her to put more up. The only thing she needs in arenas is either a lower wall limit, or higher prices for ult and tactical @SolitaryMassacre I agree about her Ult but can't agree on her tactical. The heals are factually limited but you're more likely to die with your extra batteries than run out in a match. I also don't think her number of barriers are a problem for obvious reasons.
She needs space and time to set up her tactical. She can slap down 2-3 right behind each other to make sure 1 or 2 barriers survive but needs measured distance to pull it off.
Destroying all her barriers also isn't necessary. Breaking whatever barrier she has in the front and pushing her back should be enough though I suppose that depends on the situation.
