How is everyone feeling about Rampart at the moment?
I haven't played her yet this season, can't wait till I get the opportunity.
Have you come across many playing her. What have your experiences been like Vs her?
Are more people playing her?
Ok I've played her for a a little bit yesterday night.
I had one occurrence where I was caught out playing against a Rampart who was camping. I was sliding down a hill and I barely heard sheila spin up before being beamed. My fault for sliding down the hill without looking first but the point is it was such a fast spin up I had no time to react jump or dodge, although I was sliding towards cover.
The walls I have not come across a problem yet. Although there is an element of just accepting that they will inevitably come up when fighting against a Rampart, unless you focus fire them quickly as a team they won't be coming down quickly. Would be a waste of ammo for anything other than an LMG.
Perhaps for experienced players these are not problems as you wouldn't leave yourself vulnerable as I did. But if more people play Rampart only time will tell.
But overall Rampart is probably at her best right now. With the only niggle IMO is the smoothness when placing walls, which is a quality of life issue. I would still like it to be hold and release like caustic traps.
Also I'd still like to see Rampart be able to place Sheila and pick her back up again for 50% charge like her old ultimate if undamaged or not fired.
Placing Sheila is still useful for team play purposes.
