Rank Protection Leading to Spike in People Quiting And Messing Around in Ranked

I have a very serious issue I noticed happening more and more recently. I play on XBox and supposedly there's an exploit <removed>. I have noticed more people doing this more often. Three ranked games ended with me in second place, without any squad mates <removed>, against a full squad yesterday—and this scenario is getting old fast.

I am nearly diamond, but the grind has gotten awful with people messing around in ranked games. I know if I am paired with someone who is Platinum 4, they will either quit out, or do stupid things because they have “Rank Protection.” I think you need to look into removing Ranked Protection entirely, or figure out a way to punish people that leave because they think there is some sort of buffer. Honestly, if you are playing ranked you ought to have the mindset of wanting to stick around as long as possible.

I feel that any sort of leaving should be met with strong penalties, such as -1,000 RP or 3-day bans. Casual games are a free-for-all and I am okay with that, but people need to put their game faces on when it comes to ranked, and the abuses I have been seeing spike recently are awful.
