Ranked move remove rp entry cost

Remove the rp entry cost and people won't be playing hide and seek as much.

It really sucks to queue up for a game, get 2 trash teammates and have you lose right away.

To counter this I feel like people drop solo and just hide to the last second if they can so that at least they don't have to give points back to the game.

Of course they are going to change strat and just play hide and seek.

Remove Rp entry cost and make ranked mode actually competitive. It's horrible having to pay RP per game. I get the concept but it really is just ruining ranked mode and making the game less about fighting and more about hiding.

Remove Rp entry fee for ranked mode and it will improve the gameplay.

    @Bones3O Remove the RP cost and it will mean that literally every player on a long enough timeline gets to Apex Predator. What would be the point? Ranked it supposed to be better players vs better players and not just for the first few weeks.

    Make it so that only kills and wins get RP, not placement and this would go the way of the dodo. Battle royale, not hiding royale.

    Actually yeah that sounds really good, make it so only kills and wins give RP.

    And really who cares if everyone has Apex predator, it doesn't effect gameplay in any way.

    But RP cost per match is really stupid and makes me just want to play regular Apex mode.

    If they remove the RP entry cost I bet there will be no more hide and seek.

    @Bones3O I care if people who can't compete well get into the bracket I'm in because the games are much better when people are roughly the same skill level.

    If everyone gets to the higher league games then the games there will be pubstomps, just like regular apex.

    I get what you're saying. But it would take them alot longer to get up to 1000 points, and the season is only 3 months long, and pretty sure they will reset ranked each season from the looks of it. Also I'm not great at the game and the fact that I lose RP every couple of matches is just making me not want to play ranked mode at all. It's just a back and forth grind that feels pointless.

    Granted I'm sure there are some legends out there that are killing it and rarely ever losing RP but that's not the case for all of us.

    Also no exaggeration probably 25% of my games I only have a 2 man squad and I still lose RP or we get wiped early because one person couldn't find a gun and Bam, lose RP, just seems like a broken system to me, but I'm also not super beast at the game.
