Ranked Play Platinums facing Predators
Why do I have to face Predators as a Platinum rank? This is just stupid and im tired of playing literally pro players to try to advance even to diamond. Ive spent a good amount of money on this game ...

Its dumb. Its whats going to kill this game. Apex Legends is slowly dying and forcing me to play against tryhards with no job or life with 15k+ kills is ridiculous and unfair. There are over 3k Apex Predators and they should only be matched with other Preds. Long wait times? Oh well. Its the price you have to pay being ranked that high
Its much worse this season compared to last. I didnt start running into Preds until Diamond. Now im struggling mid plat. People say you get better by playing against better players. Oh really? So somehow me being better is going to prevent a pro from hitting me for 150+ with an R99? Sure. I kind of hope this game does die because Respawn is trying their best to not update it and fix major well known issues. They dont deserve this game
Compare it to LoL, which has 2-300% of Apex active players. A challenger player must sometimes wait 10 minutes to find a game of 9 players. Imagine if 60 players were needed for a game...
So if Predators only were matched with other Predators, I doubt any of them would continue to play after they reached Predator due to the waiting time. So imagine the number of troll accounts pub stomping their ways through all lower division.
Im also playing in your ELO range (Diamond 4 on one account and Plat 2 on the other) and I also get some high Diamonds and sometimes Predators in my games, but honestly I dont think there are that many in each game. You make it sound like you feel that there are 5-10 full squads of Predators in your games, but i reality its probably just a couple of players, which I think is acceptable. Also, have you ever thought of how many Plat 4 (which usually means gold skills) or even Goldies there are in Diamond or high plat games? We never complain about that, do we?
There are a lot of full squads of Preds in my games. Every time I die it's by a squad that's top 100. I almost never die from diamond leveled players and if I do, they have 1-2 preds on their team. Even if you have to give them lobbies that arent full who cares. It's not fair to me to put me against people with 10x my kills on full squads. That's like overwatch putting diamonds against a full GM team
