Ranked: Why can't I play p with my lower ranked friends?

Why can't I play ranked with my lower ranked friends but I can get matched with a rando that's a lower rank. Kind of put the damper on our friend groups game night when we can't all play together because some of us can't play the game as often. Please fix this so that groups can play ranked together even if they're not of "matching skill level". Should be on the shoulders of everyone agreeing to play the game together. Not decision that was forced on us arbitrarily. It's annoying and I can't see how it improves ranked for anyone.

    I fully agree with your sentiment here.

    If I can be matched with (they are my random squad members) lower ranked players I should be able squad up with a lower ranked friend.

    Happens to me a lot because I play ranked quite a bit more than my club mates and then later in a season/split we could only play pubs together. Just keeps making me feel sad.
