There is no official Apex Legends discord server.
I visited the server you linked and it doesn't have a verified check mark.

Discord Verified Servers - Information

Any servers that say there are,they are lying to you.
There is nothing we can do about your ban.

I recommend finding a other server that looks fun.
You can also private message the server mod to talk about it.

EA / Repawn will never ask you to change your name in discord.

But how this is not an official Discord when it is promoted by the Official Developer-supported Apex Legends Sub-reddit, as it shown below :

If you don't see a verified mark, then this is not a official server.
Edit: There is one dev promoted discord server but it's community ran, Not by EA
