Re: Add disable crossplay option or disable aim assist for console players on PC.

@HansBurgers First sorry for the late reply. Laziness. What you just described is what I'm starting to suspect the M/KB experience is like.

Most console players assume M/KB to be more accurate at a distance which another poster seems to be confirming. I always assumed that if you could melt a target from mid/long range then you shouldn't miss shots up close. So thanks for telling me about the PC experience.

I'm going to try Apex without Aim Assists when I'm home. I don't seriously listen to PC players describing the console experience or vice versa. Everyone exaggerates how difficult their side has it so it's only worthwhile hearing about M/KB talking about what the M/KB can do.

@Zero-Loot5 I plan on testing Apex out with and without Aim assist. It also felt a little stronger when I lowered my sensitivity so plsn to test that too. Given I play on console and have never seen a controller player melt anyone 1v1 I'm skeptical when I hear experiences like this.

Obviously I see players get melted when there's a massive skill gap or when they're ambushed but never in a fair 1v1.

It's possible that aim assist feels stronger at lower sensitivity or that I'm so used to its help that I don't even notice it. It's also possible that PC players are exaggerating or dealing with cheaters who happen to use controllers.
