Re: APEX BOX IS WORTH NOTHING / SPEND OVER 600$ FOR NOTHING

I don't know where you saw anything that would guarantee you that you would be getting wraith's knife via (at worse) the 500th loot box you open. You need to understand this is exactly like gambling, you BELIEVE that you will eventually get good stuff but that's not how it works. That kind of mentality is wrong and a lot of gamblers do not understand that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambler%27s_fallacy

It is not because you spend more money that you will get better chances of getting better/rarer cosmetics (excluding the guaranteed legendary every 30 box which equals to about 30$ USD). So you spent about 300$ USD on loot boxes... that is exactly why a lot of people despise them because it's predatory practices.

In fact, an heirloom like the Wraith’s Knife is only guaranteed to be dropped in every 500 packs opened, although you might unlock an heirloom in the first Apex Pack you open. ‘ What does it mean ? So now is it guarantee when you open 500 box or not ? Thank you for respond . Dont be rude next time . This is not about gambling . There is some facts in it so you cant say its gambling . There is a trick you didnt understand yet . There is a chance you can there is a fact you can get it .
  • Loot boxes = gambling. That you like it or not. Science is proving this, a quick google search will show you articles confirming that it has the same effects on the brain.

About the "guaranteed" chance of getting it with at the very least on the 500th pack opened, well if it's indeed guaranteed (which I doubt), why are you even posting here? Talk with customer support and deal with them. I'm not rude at all, you just takes things way too personal.

That statement from EA support above says to me that you'll get an 'heirloom item' guaranteed once every 500 packs, or you could be lucky and get it sooner by chance opening packs.

I got the heirloom knife in my second free box.  RNG is what RNG is.

I think it was a mistake for EA to make the heirloom knife a rare drop in boxes you can buy for money. This is just a ridiculous money trap. They should have two kinds of loot boxes, "earned" boxes given out for playing.. and "purchased" boxes. The heirloom knife should have only been available in "earned" boxes, so nobody would get trapped into buying 600 boxes, only to not get the knife and get pissed.
