I actually do drop at edge of the map and still got shredded ... sure I won one game but after that lost like noob on 5 games after start ... my point is that game is not fun anymore. I don't care about rank because I already was a diamond and I knew solo I can't go higher but point is that it's not FUN anymore to play rankeds. It was fun to climb from lower ranks because you knew you would met less skilled players and it worked in past. Silver Gold was no problem for me only after gold in platina and in diamond I started to have a competition. It worked as it should. Now ranks mean nothing and games even on silver are hard as F ... I could play like a total * and hide on map like I seen so many people today in my games but WHY if rank is useless with this new ranked system! What is the point of ranked at this point ... now I have no reason to play ranked anymore because I already had high rank and now even all the fun was taken from my games. Nice! There is really problem with concept that you should only play against similarly skilled players when that point you should reach only on higher ranks and not from start. You should be able to met noobish players to be able to compare your skillset or how would you even knew what you can do if some inside system what we can't even see pick what players you will play against. It's so dumb. I will not be only one who after few attempts and getting killed will just turn the game off. That is a consequence of that system.

Yep, I’ve had to stop playing because of this. Diamonds and masters in a silver lobby for ranked. Masters and Preds in Trios/Duos. As a casual gamer, it’s no longer fun. Sad face ☹️

That I can agree on, that the game isnt that fun anymore, especially not as a solo Q. But I dont agree that the previous system "worked as it should" either. The RP payout table in comparison to the RP entry costs for bronze to gold even plat back then was way to generous. It was more or less impossible to NOT reach gold for even the bottiest bot player in the world. A system where there literally are no hardstuck bronze and silvers is broken. The rank distribution should be normal distributed and no offense. You say you get shredded even when dropping remotely? Well then you are not ratting hard enough. When you see an enemy, RUN THE OTHER WAY. Thats how Respawn designed the ranked system to work haha. Sad but true but I guess I am happy that Respawn tried something new. But when the easiest and fastest way to rank up is to AFK in a corner, then that system is broken too.
Even for three man premade, I actually think the most effective way to rank up would be to pick movement legends like Octane, Pathfinder and Valkyrie, split up and jump to each side of the map, as far away from each other as possible and also to areas without competition, even if its just a random no-name area with a couple of loot bins. And then everyone become rats, doing whatever it takes to survive as long as possible, like standing outside the circle and craft medkits, and just hope that a Seer isnt running past them.

I would summarize it that low to mid elo players got it harder to rank up now compared to before whereas mid to high elo players got it easier, especially the so called "hardstuck diamond4" who now easily can reach master. I hope Respawn are working hard on using the data to calibrate their system. We all know that Respawns general strategy is to release untested and broken stuff just to millions of free testers to balance it for them hehe

@liber8mymadne55Pubs is a ridiculous sweat fest and matchmaking can't handle it. I die to Diamonds & up all the time in pubs. Absolutely broken.
