@jumanjaydazed Im not sure if its the servers or players joining high ping servers for an advantage usually the whole game runs fine but then theres that one player that is so laggy its just impossible to aim at them... because there bouncing frame by frame all over the place when everyone else is perfectly fine

@FaIIenAngeI777 I think those players aren't just laggy, their connection must be pretty unstable. The game tries to predict a player's next move and relies on his average ping or on the last few timestamps coming from the client's updates. If packets get lost, there's prediction error and that player will appear as jumpy if he's changing direction in those moments.

Unfortunately, this isn't a problem that Respawn or EA can fix, as they don't have much control of what's happening between the servers and the clients. All devs can do is to improve the prediction, but they worked on it already. By the way, increasing the tick rate could have a bad effect, as there would be more load on the server, while client updates would need to be split in more pieces and, if any of that piece gets lost due to network issues, the whole update can get doomed. If an entire update is lost, that can lead to much uglier bugs, like physics errors, rubberbanding, stuff disappearing, players being teleported to the center of the map (I've seen this happening a few times).
