@RedlightStalker9 It's not.. revive isn't the forte of crypto, it was lifeline. Doing so would not only be unfair to lifeline, but also break the game by allowing crypto and lifeline to chain revive.

He should still be able to use his drone to protect you while reviving much like lifeline since her shield makes no sense or mirage being able to go invisible which ill accept that one

First of all, Crypto is a recon legend, and his drone is used for recon. His current abilities all focus on recon, except for his ult. It would make very little sense to shoehorn in a buff to his revive. Plus, if he got the Lifeline auto-revive, it would make him op and Lifeline redundant.
Second, how would they explain the buff? Crypto’s drone has only shown two abilities, the EMP and the regular scan. What would the drone do to help you? Scan the enemies? The EMP would just hit you as well. - @RedlightStalker9 So you telling me is perfectly fine to EMP while moving the drone to revive teammate?
- @RedlightStalker9 The only buff I can see in regards to teammates is using a respawn beacon while in his drone.
In regards to straight revive, it would be cool if his drone came out and gave warnings of enemies in the area or something like that - sticking to his recon ability Obviously if the drone is busy it can't do both.
There is no explanation for lifelines shield revive either so you're telling me thats a different situation?
- @RedlightStalker9 Well yeah, the drone makes a shield. Lifeline could get the same shield before the autorevive, so it’s not exactly coming out of nowhere.
But it doesn't relate to her skill set
- @RedlightStalker9 Lifeline is a medic, it totally relates to her skill set. Her main purpose is support, which is why her tactical heals people, her ult brings extra heals/shields, and the other half of her passive gives your team extra heals.
Last time I checked the police carry shields and the medics dont. It has nothing to do with her skill set
- @RedlightStalker9 As a medic, she should have a buff to her revive, as it can be considered to be within her field as a medical professional.
Since she also has the drone, her original ability was to revive people faster and get the shield, as she is a *combat* medic. They changed it in a rework so that the drone can revive people on it’s own but Lifeline can’t fast revive anymore.
It isn’t that difficult to understand that the combat medic character would have a better way to revive people. Its un unfair advantage to those who don't use lifeline. She should have at minimum a cool down period of picking up her teammates

You wanted to give Crypto the ability to revive with his drone, which I am saying would be a bit too strong, and also would not work with the rest of his kit. @RedlightStalker9Nothing lines up with your idea. First of all the only buff crypto needs in my opinion is emp not effecting teammates. Second of all lifeline is a MEDIC! Why would crypto a HACKER revive someone automatically. Like that doesn’t make any sense. Lifeline has this ability to make up for her terrible other abilities. Although me a crypto main thinks he could use a buff, auto res would not work with him. You said you’re new to the game so I suggest taking the advice from the players who have been playing longer than you, they know more about the game and how certain changes will most likely play out and your idea would work terribly within apex
- @RedlightStalker9 It is not in any way an unfair advantage that Lifeline has a revive shield. You would basically be saying, "Crypto's drone is unfair for those of us who don't play Crypto." Does that mean every character should have one?
I think his drone should be able to detect people behind him when not in use.
- @RedlightStalker9 Ever heard about revenant? His ability prevent lifeline from using drone to revive teammate.
