I've had issues with crashes and freezes since day one of this game, but lately it's been working just fine.

The trick was using an older Nvidia driver, which you can read more about in my topic here:

If you've got an issue where the game crashes, and you get a penalty, try using AHK to create a small network killer trigger.

If the game freezes, use your hotkey to disable your connection, making the game think you timedout due to network issues.

This worked for me a while ago to prevent bans while the game froze.
