Please Make this simple change!

Can you make it to where you can unbind a button, I'm talking about the R3 melee button. I don't need or want melee in a game that my 57 opponents all carry big guns. There is no way to get around it, ive got a heavy thumb and everytime im in a gunfight I will melee in the middle of it and we all know that " You don't bring fist to a gunfight." I've tried different button swapping and it dont matter if I put crouch, ping, jump because guess what happends in the middle of the gunfight, I either crouch, ping or jump in the middle of a gunfight. I'm not speaking for myself but the thousands of people have the same problem.
