I created this to try and collate the insane number of duplicate posts and help everyone out.

Please, If there is anything people feel is wrong, inappropriate or against T+S please let me know and i'll just mod the post.

EDIT: think I know what might have happened, the thread has now been marked as spam, I think it might be because i went around some of the 60 or so threads on cheaters/ reporting users and had the audacity to try and help people by linking them to this thread so that people would have an answer to their question.

Issue is manually having to ban cheaters from individual reports doesn't fix anything, it's like putting a band-aid on top of a gushing severed artery. Game is F2P so unless they hardware ban people and they have an anti-cheat that will do it's job, the moment a reported cheater is banned, he will simply create a new account so I fail to see what's the point? Can the anti-cheat developpers actually learn how to counter new cheats just from player reports? I doubt it. 

the report button does absolutely nothing

Record them if you're lucky enough send to EA site

Though Cheater numbers are down atm playing has been pretty good.

TBH considering the game is free, cheaters will kill it.

 hi my name is Xavier I play Apex Legends a lot and I have been all over the Internet trying to find a contact email or number 4 Apex or EA i can't find anything I am trying to speak with someone in regards 2 the game play I am trying to figure out on my game play when a team kills me and they are not using any type of Aimbot assistance or cheating the game lets me report them and it gives me the option. when a person or team kills me and they are cheating it doesn't give me an option to report them is there anything I can do about this who do I call what do I buy who do I contact any information will be very helpful

Though on Playstation it takes longer to report another person on the same system if they are possibly cheating, then it would to report someone from Xbox or pc

I stopped playing in season 12 because they can't get a handle on anything. Came back the other day to the same crap! The ESRB is still allowing modded controllers in every game, so what's the point of playing? EA won't do anything about it. They just let cheaters do whatever they want. 

EasyAntiCheat doesn't work for modded controllers, so what's the point? 

Going to report this one to EA since I have a clear video proof of it, but will say it here: I was fighting a squad with my teammates, where we killed 2 out of 3 enemy players. The last player got away, but then fell off the map. The moment they fell off the map, I heard one of my teammate's say the voice line: "and that's the last of them".

The same exact player was still alive in the game, despite being squad wiped. So either they were alive twice in one match, or they glitched onto another team. Either way, we need a better anti-cheat if EAC really thinks that's legit.

Using an Apex stat tracker, I found that there's only one player who has their name, (incase it was Steam / Origin players, or someone on console using the same name), they were the only player, across all platforms, with the name.

I completely agree. I’ve been in games where someone on my team cheated I reported it they went on to pinch and kick 18 people deathbkxes without damage as I deliberately killed myself with thermite. I nkthced at least 20 people spectated him at the time and were likely reporting him. Did it work? No, because 2 games later with same username and character he was an enemy stalking me in lobby and we both got to final 2 I didn’t notice the name until he Kramer killed me through a building wall that had no windows then it flipped to him as champion standing outside and below holding the Kramer, he literally shot me tbrough the concrete floor. 
EA OR RESPAWN never banned the guy from over a dozen reports,

and if people have  say 30+ kills and take like 10 damage from a full clip of spitfire without a. Miss and then a switch to r99 and some shots and get reported in game it never works!.

people need to boycott this game until EA sorts out their priorities!

On the contra ray tehy in,y temp ban serious cheaters hardly hear of perma bans and do nothing when people report blatant cheaters within game who shoot through walls, use aim not, take no damage, spawn weapons or armour. They sit on tenir fat * and do NOTHING to the cheaters. The games dying finally. It’s what it deserves after years of abuse by neglect ive ea and respawn for not getting to grips with cheaters
