Re: Havocs are way too op

i second that 100 % it puts a sour taste in my mouth.... there is no way at distance that gun should do more damage then a sniper.... i suggest making it less stable and slower firing...

@nineptfive Well, depends on the distance. At mid-range and lower, it makes sense. At long ranges, not so much, but it is pretty hard to use an auto weapon at long range.

The Havoc is kind of too strong if you get caught out in the open, but there are ways to counter it.

If you hide behind cover, peek, shoot, and hide again, the Havoc user will have a hard time hitting you with the Havoc due to the charge up time. This is best used if you have a high damage per shot weapon or just any weapon that can do a lot of damage quickly. But, keep in mind that they may just switch to some other weapon or rush you, so be careful.

The other way to counter the Havoc is to just ambush them/surprise them. Because of the charge-up time, they can't react as quickly as they normally would. This is best with any high dps weapon, like the r-99 or prowler, as they can melt the person before they can deal enough damage.

That being said, the Havoc is a bit too strong in many situations.
