The reason you are here complaining is because your high demand for the heirloom, i.e justifies the very high price. If the price were lower, the exclusivity and therefore also the demand would decrease and the personal "worth" of a heirloom would also decrease. Also, they are not taking peoples money; they give you the option to pay to look pretty with totally voluntary cosmetics, in a totally free game, that at least to 99% doesn't have give you any real advantages in the game (apart from the iron sight of merciless wing hehe). If you ask me, all these kind of threads are just childish, like a little grumpy kid in the candy store who cant afford his lollypop.
Then its a little bit ironic that I, who literally cares nothing for skins, got my first Lifeline heirloom (before you could choose) at like lvl 40 and then pretty recently my first heirloom shards on lvl 472, having spend approximately $20 in total on this account =)
