So am i just going to have to deal with it no response from ea?

It’s looking that way. It freaking sucks.
Let's just put it into an interesting view:
Step 1: Make overpriced gamble boxes, so people will try to be lucky and obtain the item they actually want. They usually spend more money on that that they were actually planning. Doesn't matter if it's 10 or 100 bucks more, in fact each Dollar spend is "alot".Step 2: Know that there will be Community backlash for these clearly overprized boxes. Admit you made a mistake.
Step 3: Make the skins avaiable on the Store as a "step towards the Community". Which will lead even more people to spend money on the Store. 'Kaching'.
Step 4: Ignore the playerbase that feels scammed since you didn't keep the promise to make this the only way to get the skins. Keep the money of those that payed alot and offer no refunds + receive more money from the people that'll buy on the store.Just now you made alot of money, while people think you actually recognized you made a mistake. You're not the bad guy anymore. Congratulations on fooling everyone. 😎
