Re: More and more players modifying .cfg files to gain an advantage.

@DevgruNil I assume you are new to the game, all the command lines for apex that used to give players advantages are disabled in season 1 or before that not really sure and you don't need a config file for advanced movements, you can just go in game settings and change the buttons in there

  • @Cakito7 I've been playing this game since March 2019, and have not missed a single season. As you can check out in this video. Also this channel has made several other videos telling you how to use .cfg files to make advanced movements.
If you know what super glide or tap strafe is, I'm sure you'd believe it cannot be found in any game setting.

@DevgruNil A lot of the cfg settings for these mechanics were removed. while that info may have something in it relevant a lot of it is not. A lot of advanced movement is done via scroll wheel jumping which allows a tap strafe. This is no altering of the cfg file it is setting your in game jump hotkey to scroll wheel. Which is how people like timmy and other big time players are able to tap strafe to hit a instant 180 on any terrane even while on pads.
  • @E9ine_AC Bro, I have no problem doing tap strafe or super glide with my own hands. Please at least check out those videos before judging me. If instantly changing your in-game FPS to 30 and then back to where you were, just to make it easier to achieve a super glide, can be done in your game setting, I must have played 9 seasons for nothing.

@DevgruNil Those files are typically used for performance purposes like texture. Sure, there was a case where you could remove smoke and that was absolutely game breaking, but that's been fixed for a while now.

@Midnight9746 Nah, I'm not talking about performance improvement at all, neither am I talking about muzzle flash.

I meant tap strafe and super glide. Those are basically advanced movement skills. With modified .cfg files you can do them much easier.

You can go to the links I listed above, or google it yourself. Like tap strafe can basically help you dodge a lot of bullets.

I literally think using .cfg files to make them easier is unfair to all those who don't do so in the lobby.
