Was that feature added this season? I had no idea that was a thing! Wow, I'm going to be doing a lot more executions.

I think they added that in when they changed gold bodyshield to fast use instead of execution.
True, I think you should get the shield recharge even if they leave the game. Also, the finisher should be credited for still.
It is great that finishers count towards healing our shields though. It is great at the start of the game when I have no shield cells but I have blue or purple
I do however wished that Finishers counted towards our damage. When you thirst someone, you finally get the 100 health damage off them. But if you do a Finisher. It doesn't give you the extra or remaining Health that knocked person had.
- @Leo_the_Lion25 I don't believe you get any damage added to your stats after knocking down a player.
Read somewhere else on the forum from one of the EA mods that any damage after knocking a player does not count towards end game damage stats or player damage stats.
This seems to be true. I had a game where I just finished off teammates knock downs with a few shots on a standing enemy and barely got any damage on my end game stats. - @iBlockHead You're playing the game wrong. Thirst damage now counts ever since Void event.
Only knockdown shields and finishers don't give you the 100 HP - @Leo_the_Lion25 I will test this out today.

If you are wrong, I will shun you for the lies you speak. - @iBlockHead Test it yourself, join a game in pubs and kill the first person you see. Don't do a finisher. Thirst them with a weapon or melee them. Leave the game and you will see you did 200 damage or 250 if they had a white armor.
You get the picture.
You can also get 800 damage if you win against a full purple team. For example 200 + 100 + 200 + 100 + 200 = 800 damage. Killing the first two purple enemies and thirsting them both. Then killing the last member.
The update has been great really and makes killing enemies more worth it. - @Leo_the_Lion25 You ain’t getting your shield up due to me! Screw that XD. I get knocked down, you’re getting third partied without any shields (if I watch I’m laughing)!
And you don’t get +100 if you finisher them, only if you thirst them @Koochi-QAs much as id hate to admit it, id leave just so they won't get it either.
