@Hilshire12Bro, I said the same thing.

R-301 is a bad assault rifle because of two things:

1. Low Damage - currently 14
2. Low Magazine Capacity - currently 18/20/25/28


To buff the R-301 to be balanced you would either need to do one of the follow things:

1. Buff Damage from 14 to 15
2. Buff Ammo Clip Size from 18/20/25/28 to 20/22/26/30


If you want my opinion of the two. The clip size buff is what I want to see. Why?


Damage would be the following:

14 * 20 = 280
14 * 22 = 308
14 * 26 = 364
14 * 30 = 420


Now, if the damage was buff to 15 but the devs kept the current ammo. It would be the following:

15 * 18 = 270
15 * 20 = 300
15 * 25 = 375
15 * 28 = 420


See the difference? 14 damage but a better mag size in the clip is more skill dependent which is what I would like to see. The damage buff only helps you possible kill someone faster with less ammo.

I think it'll be great to keep the current 14 base damage but increase the magazine size capacity. 🙂
