Yea and the AWS services we have isn't those that Multiplay uses for apex legends. They also use Google cloud servers and we have none of that either. The good news is that Google cloud is still planing on establishing Africa servers in the near future, so that can potentially boost the chances of SA getting local support. I agree with the communication being poor though. I can do all the research in the world, but will never be sure or have a clear answer. Speculation is the best we can do right now.

Just a clear statement of why local servers isn't possible yet would be great. Any news is better than no news.

People are just going to end up leaving the game for games like call of duty warzone because the lag time really does make a huge difference

Left ages ago, People think they are amazing at the game when most of the world cant compete. Of my 12 or so friends who got in to Apex not 1 has stayed purely based on lag. The whole game just goes out of the window with the lag related glitches.
Cant wait for this game to either die out to make room for a developer who will address issues or for someone to step up and resolve these decisions.

Bois, rocket league is free on the epic store and it has ZA servers. It's a good bit of fun if you're interested :P

They finally implemented a live ping counter in the game so we all can enjoy knowing that we play at 230ping instead of the 180ping that the start menu said. Well done respawn I appreciate knowing how much worse the lag is than what I thought.
