Re: Running hurts :( (pressing down to run)

Been pushing for a this since release. I just don’t get why we need a button for sprinting when we have an analog stick!
Please add sprint by default! This was the best thing they ever added in fortnite.

It’s really painful in longer gaming sessions. And it wears out the controller badly.

How does it wear it out badly? You only need to click once. You don’t need to hold it down or mash it.

I don’t get it when people say that you only have to press it down once. How do you play this game? Do you choose a direction to run and then gun down anyone on the way while running? Movement in this game is so important in fights and you pretty much have to press down on that stupid stick every second. Even when you run around looting. You stop and turn all the time, climb over stuff and you name it.
Anyway there is no reason for them to not make it an option. If some people love pressing down on the stick they can. I just want to be able to have sprint by default as an option.

You can turn while running. As long as your left stick doesn’t go neutral, you will continue to run.
why would you stop, turn, then move again?

Well don’t know what to tell you. Why do I do any of the crazy stuff I do in this game. Guess I’m weird.
