you’re definitely not the only one who dislikes SBMM, all the youtubers and pro players are raging atm

me on the other hand, i don’t mind the SBMM as a general idea of creating an equal playing field, however there seems to be something really wrong with it in Apex - as you have pointed out yourself, your teammates are usually nowhere near your own stats while the opposition seems often way above....and i honestly have hard time seeing how exactly this is ‘skill based’
